NEVER TO BE RELEASED

.

Usually when one reads the words ‘NEVER TO BE RELEASED’ it is in connection with an individual, not unusually described as ‘beyond evil’, that many among the general public, as well as various state and local officials, believe should never, because of the nature of their crimes, be released from prison. That is not, in this instance, the case.

No, my usage of ‘NEVER TO BE RELEASED’ as the title of this post is in relation to a film that has for some time been, as I like to say, “in the works”. Unfortunately, due to my general attitude, aptly defined, by those lucky few to know me on a personal level, as ‘lackadaisical’, I quite easily gave up on ever finishing what, without a doubt, would have been an amazing little film.

However, this very morning, most likely while the majority of you were sleeping, dreaming, I’m sure, of reaping fortunes, attracting mates, and crushing your foes, I was anxiously pacing the floor desperate for something, anything, to post. Then, for reasons I have yet to examine fully, it occurred to me that I could present a still image from the film that would never be released.

STUDY OF THE ARTIST AS KARL MALDEN

.

“If only”, right? To be Karl Malden would be more than I deserve to be honest. I mean, I’m not a monster or anything, but, damn, as ‘The Kurgan’ said when impaling Conor MacLeod in preparation for beheading him, “There can be only one”.

“But,” Iktomi said as he continued to spin his web, “in each time of life there are many forces – some good and some bad. If you listen to the good forces, they will steer you in the right direction. But, if you listen to the bad forces, they will hurt you and steer you in the wrong direction.

ARTIST’S INTERPRETATION OF THE MOONGATE CAFE with A DEFINITION and DETAILS

.

The drawing below was created on the 13th of November, 2016 at approximately 9 a.m..

The commentary in the drawing’s lower left hand corner can be explained, for those who do no know, by the following definition from ‘the urban dictionary’:

drop your sack

expletive used most frequently by high school coaches to motivate players by insinuating that their players testicles have not fallen to the normal pubescent altitude

Coach Todd: Hey Gibbons! How about you drop your sack and hit the shit out of this baseball right chere?
Gibbons: What a fucking douchewad. Im gonna strikeout for that.
